Immanuel Kant: Philosopher of Ogboni

A philosopher of Ògbóni is a person whose ideas are correlative with those of the  various  Yoruba origin esoteric fraternities  which are variants of   Ògbóni  or its other form,  Òṣùgbò  even though s uch a person is not known to be a member of   Ògbóni  or  Òṣùgbò  and does not even mention these groups in their work. An Ògbóni philosopher , on the other hand,  is a member of Ògbóni   or  Òṣùgbò   who presents a body of ideas giving insight into Ògbóni values.   I developed those characterizations in the course of constructing  a new school of Ògbóni, the Universal Ògbóni Philosophy and Spirituality, as I describe in " Developing Universal Ògbóni Philosophy and Spirituality: My Journey ". Developing Universal Ogboni Philosophy and Spirituality : My Journey

                                                                 Abstract This is a statement of my goals, the rationale for those goals, a description of my methods and an account of my progress in developing Universal Ogboni Philosophy and Spirituality, a new school of the Yoruba origin Ogboni esoteric order, centred in Ogboni veneration of the feminine, represented by Ile, Earth, universal mother, represented by male and female human beings as her children. This initiative is grounded in the aesthetic values of Ogboni bronze sculpture in dialogue with Ogboni philosophy and spirituality, within the context of classical Yoruba thought, framing these conjunctive streams in a global framework integrating African, Asian and Western thought.
